AT
LAST…La Provence Brentwood Opens its
Lovely Doors…
Brentwood, CA – April 15, 2008
– After months of remodeling the
2,500 square foot space on the third floor
of the Brentwood Gardens (11677 San Vicente
Blvd.,) Farshid Hakim has opened his second
La Provence Patisserie & Café.
What a difference from the tiny-yet-charming
charming space La Provence now occupies
on West Olympic Blvd. in Beverly Hills
(opened in 1997). The iconic charm is
there along with the signature collection
of Vintage Home Décor items for
which La Provence Beverly Hills is known.
However, the much larger space offers
a wrap-around outdoor dining lounge with
floral chairs and banquettes with a view
of Brentwood. The restaurant itself is
awash in yellow-cream & Venetian-paste
colored walls with vintage French cabinets,
Zebra-covered banquettes, and floor to
ceiling windows. The piece de resistance…two
24 X 36 majestic, 18th century Chrystal
chandeliers Farshid brought back from
Paris. Other lighting will come from French
scones hung throughout the room.
La Provence’s signature breakfast
and lunch menus will be served, but now
along with a dinner menu (available throughout
the day as well). There will also be beer
and wine and extended dining hours from
7:30am until 10:00pm. All meals will be
served on the outdoor patio, which will
also be used for private parties.
NEW…The avant-garde Intelligentsia
Coffees and Teas will be the only ones
served at La Provence Brentwood. La Provence
will be using Intelligentsia’s espresso
and drip coffee makers. This will be the
only Brentwood outlet for Intelligentsia
(www.intelligentsiacoffee.com)
